Daco Solutions Rotary Die Cutting

 

Daco Solutions now have a total solution to plain label production.  For the small runs, we have the table top Daco DTD250 rotary die cutter and the Daco D250 / 330 for the medium to long runs.  For the longer run and high volume we have the Daco DSI 330 / 410 and with non-stop full automation we have the Daco TD - with either one or two rotary die stations, a 1m (40") unwind and a turret rewinder with core and tail gluing with automatic roll ejection.

 

Daco D250 Rotary Die Cutter

The Daco D250 / 330 blank label converter utilises either a single or dual rotary die cutting station.  The large 700mm (27.5") unwind with taper tension control and electronic brake keeps roll changes to a minimum.

The machine is a cost effective solution to blank / plain label converting with user friendly features, a short web path keeps wastage to a minimum and a production speed of 150m/minute.  The machine is ideally suited to clients wish to produce plain labels for the growing thermal transfer label market.

Standard Features

Rotary die station - Single rotary die cutting station with matrix rewind.
Mandrels - 76mm (3") air mandrels for both the unwind and rewind.
Unwind - 700mm (27.5") diameter with Merobel electroagnetic particle brake and taper tension control.
Slitting - 3 rotary scissor slitting knives with on the run lateral adjustment.  Removable interlocked cutter guard for easy access to the knives and anvils.
Rewind - Pneumatic rewind clutch with independent regulator and gauge (optional electromagnetic particle clutch).  Labels in / labels out rewinding.
Counting - Labels and Metres - with auto slow down and stop when the count is reached.
Splicing table - With manual web clamps makes rejoining the web easier.
Nip roller - Fully adjustable silicon covered nip drive roller.
Gearing - 1/8 cp, 20 degree pressure angle.

The Daco TD turret rewinder

The Daco TD turret rewinder is the ideal machine for producing plain labels automatically with little operator input. The machine is equipped with high capacity 1m (40") unwind to keep master roll changes to a minimum. The 3 spindle turret offers quick change over times, which coupled with a touch screen HMI operator interface makes the machine both interactive and user friendly.

There is a host of optional equipment which enables you to specify a very adaptable converting line.
Web widths 330mm (13") or 410mm (16").
